AWESOME, MEAT DOES Autumn APART IF YOU COOK FOR 7 HOURS OR More than. I DID 7 HOURS AND THEN I HAVE ALSO Made IT OVERNIGHT. AWESOME, AMAZINGLY Easy AND Delicious! I Tin'T Cook ANYTHING AND MY Family BEGGED FOR THIS FOR A WEEK. It IS Crawly POURED OVER A BAKED POTATO W/ CHEESE AND SOUR Foam. OR, SERVE WITH RICE OR MASHED POTATOES. I DOUBLED THE RECIPE AND DO SO EVERY TIME.

Anyone who cooked this and had it come up out tough there must be a HUGE trouble. I followed the recipe to be exact and cooked information technology all day which was well-nigh 12 hours on low oestrus and the meat fell apart with a fork and the broth was AMAZING!!! Can't wait to make this again.
05/31/2009
Super fashion to use a low cost cut of beefiness. Added a scattering and a one-half of cooked egg noodles at the terminate and served it over a toasted french breadstuff bun. YUM YUM! Cheers.
08/09/2009
This recipe was slap-up since we don't have a grill. Since my fiance isn't a mushroom fan, I changed the soup to cream of celery and it was delicious! The meat was very tender and the gravy was great over rice. I did add a little more water too, and cooked on high for iv hours.
08/23/2009
I did not utilise water, and the sauce turned out very flossy and flavorful. I added onion soup mix at the beginning along with the other ingredients to requite information technology a prissy nil, and added fresh mushrooms about halfway through. Turned out very well with these revisions.
01/25/2011
This was DELICIOUS!!! I don't know why some people say the meat lacked flavor and information technology was not tender...nosotros did not need knives and information technology was so flavorful!! I served it with homemade mashed potatoes and the gravy was fabulous on them. On the side I served parmesan asparagus and information technology was the perfect meal. I followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect! I judge I probably did cook it a little longer than called for. I threw information technology in the crockpot around 10am and served it at 6:30 pm. My kids LOVED it...which was weird because they are very very picky. Piece of cake....yummy....fabulous! I will brand it once again and once again!!
04/29/2009
Added one-half a chopped onion (and sliced mushrooms five.5 hours into cooking) and cooked on low for 6.5 hours. The meat was tender enough, but Very dry out. Used flour to make gravy---that was tasty. If I make this again I'll piece the meat into 1" strips (maybe it won't be and then dry), and cook on high for 3.five-4 hours.
03/21/2009
The flavor was delicious but the meat was a picayune chewy. (Subsequently only 4 hours in slow cooker on depression.) I was excited to have london bake fall apart, simply it did not deliver there.
09/13/2009
I made this tonight and information technology was delicious! Added fresh mushroom to the pot. Served with blue cheese butter, also from this site, mashed potatos and steamed zucchini and onions. Make me look forward to going to piece of work tomorrow since information technology volition be my lunch also. Great recipe.
03/29/2011
I made this in the crock pot overnight and it was soooo tender, I pretty much followed the recipe with these few additions, half packet of Lipton onion soup mix, half of an onion, tin can of beefiness stock instead of water and added a teaspoon of beef bouillion. One time done I added most one/four cup of heavy whipping foam and served over egg noodles, with asparagas. Will serve along side of mashed potatoes side by side time. Delicious
11/28/2010
Yummy I made a couple of changes I added ane/2 cup of milk along with one/2 c h2o, mushrooms, onions, creole seasoning, couple dashes of worcestirshire sauce, cooked on low for 7 hours then added a cup of heavy foam for additional one/2 hour & some blueish cheese crumbles, shredded meat. Very tasty! Served over bow tie pasta & mashed potatoes.
08/25/2009
Sorry guys, but this i wasn't for me! I am a big fan of pot roast, beefiness stew, and other braised meats, simply I did not enjoy this at all! Although the meat was fairly tender, I did not like the taste at all, will non make again!! Possibly if yous seared the meat first, nonetheless don't think it would make that much of a difference! Lamentable!
11/23/2009
This is such a great repast!! I made a few changes though. I seasoned the meat with salt/pepper and browned information technology in olive oil first. I also used a tin of cream of celery soup as well equally the mushroom. I used a can full of water instead of 1/2c. Also a bundle of beefy onion soup mix, plain onion soup mix would piece of work fine likewise. And near 1tbsp of dales low sodium steak seasoning. Cooked on low for about 10hours, I worked all solar day and that tough piece of meat could use several hours of cooking anyway. It turned out cracking!!!! Information technology goes well over a baked potato, a hoagie, or rice. Add a few veggies on the side and you have a delicious supper. Will definitely make this again.
05/16/2009
The ingredients fabricated a dainty gravy. The meat was ok, not melt in your oral fissure. Without the gravy over it, it was too dry out. Had very practiced season.
02/26/2013
I put a 2lb London Broil from Sprouts in the crockpot. It was frozen. I cooked it on Low for 12 hours overnight with 3 cans of mushroom soup; one/two loving cup of water; NO garlic; and 1 Tsp organic Italian seasoning (oregano+basil mix). This morn it is soft, tender, and shredded the way I wanted information technology. The gravy is divine for the mashed potatoes I volition brand this afternoon. The slower you cook the broil the more than tender it volition exist-10-12 hours on Low seems best if you desire very tender meat.
07/19/2010
Anyone should be able to prepare this dish because information technology is then EASY! So uncomplicated and delicious all the same is then versatile in that it can be adjusted to what type of seasonings you lot prefer. For a three pound London broil, I omitted the garlic cloves only added a teaspoon of All-purpose Greek salad seasoning. I added a couple of dashes of cayenne pepper and substituted a can of cream of craven soup. I cooked for 3 hours on high and then turned to low for 4 hours. Made a great gravy which I served over mashed potatoes forth with green beans, carrot salad and rolls! Yummy! Thanks Yvonne for sharing your recipe!
02/20/2011
Great elementary recipe that costs next to cipher to feed the family. Next time, I will cook a couple handfuls of egg noodles on the stove to serve nether this, every bit the mushroom soup melts into a gravy that reminds me very much of stroganoff.
01/xvi/2012
This was a great recipe. I followed the instructions exactly how it shows. Added some onions and mushrooms at about 1-two hours left of cooking and made a gravy with the sauce. It was a HUGE striking. My picky toddler ate it. And my male parent in police who is my biggest critic loved it and couldn't believe how tender the meat was. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It is in my permanent recipe box for future utilise.
05/23/2010
NO Pocketknife NEEDED! I added almost i/three cup soy sauce (didn't measure). Other than that follwed every bit directed. This is def a keeper and you lot can change it upwards in and then many means. I would double the soup and water if y'all desire more gravy considering there didn't seem like a lot.
05/27/2012
This is some other super easy slow cooker recipe! Meat was tender and the gravy was just right! Made this equally written.
02/04/2015
This recipe tasted great on the twenty-four hours I fabricated information technology, simply was fifty-fifty better the next twenty-four hours. I doubled the cream of mushroom soup, but kept all the other measurements the same. I put the beefiness in the crock pot, then the soup, then just sprinkled all of the other ingredients on top. I cooked information technology for x hours on low, as I used a 2 pound london broil and it turned out perfect. Served the gravy over egg noodles...delicious!
10/27/2011
This was great. I made it per the recipe and it was moist and tender and delicious. I did cut upwardly some potatoes and added them about 3 hours before end fourth dimension and that was okay. Next time, I'll serve information technology over wide egg noodles or rice, because it is like a stroganoff almost. The gravy came out perfect.
08/03/2010
WOW!! This turned out then much better than I anticipated! A generic brand of foam of mushroom soup (that looked really nasty!) couldn't even proceed this recipe downwards. The only changes I made was calculation a can of mushrooms to the pot and using a 2.29lb london broil as that was what I had on manus. Kids gobbled it up 2 days in a row!! Will definitely be calculation this to my rotations!
10/19/2010
My husband doesn't like mushrooms, so I took a risk and used cream of chicken instead. It turned out delicious! Y'all can't even taste the craven flavor -- it took on a beefy flavor and was very tasty over brown rice!
03/19/2011
delish i doubled everything for more sauce.
10/07/2009
I though this recipe was good, but i did make an aligning or two. I added beef stock instead of water, and a can of sliced mushrooms. Afterward seven hrs on low it was fall apart tender, and I had about a ii-1/2 lb. london broil in my slow cooker. It left a great gravy to put over mashed potates that I served it with.
02/09/2012
It came out splendid added pearl onions, carrots and assorted pocket-sized potatoes too. Would most likely make this again for the future!
03/24/2011
This was absolutely EXCELLENT!!! It was easy to prep and the meat was very tender. If you made this and it wasn't tender, you didn't cook it long enough. Most meats in a slow cooker taste way better when cooked on depression for a longer period of time, not rushed in a few hours. My hubby and I loved this!! Thank you!
11/05/2010
Although it was falling autonomously afterward cooking 7 hours information technology was still a bit dry. The taste was proficient, just not astonishing or annihilation. I do recollect that this is a expert way to melt your London Bake every bit it is a lowfat piece of meat that is usually quite tough if you cook it fully.
03/10/2011
What a peachy culling for london broil! My grill'south not ready at my new house yet, and then I was looking for a dissimilar mode to ready london broil. This was excellent. I added a lot of roasted garlic & herb seasoning and pepper, omitted the salt, and cooked on low for nearly 7 hours. It was a little dry, as expected per other reviews, simply was very tender and flavorful. I coarsely shredded it into the delicious gravy for the last one-half hr or and so and dryness was not an issue at all. Yum! Definitely will make over again!
04/04/2011
Succulent!! I cooked it for the specified time and information technology was then tender! The flavors were groovy! I'll definitely make this again!!
04/xviii/2010
I followed this receipe exactly as written and cooked the LB for about 7 hours. NASTY! This was a waste of a decent cut of meat. (I tried it this way because it was raining and I had to melt the LB that had been in my refrigerator for several days.) It was tender just sooooo dry! LB is a steak and should be cooked on the grill I guess. It sounded adept, besides bad. Sorry.
09/17/2014
Super easy, tasted groovy!! I'm lactose intolerant then I fabricated a alter, instead of cream of mushroom soup I used a can of beefiness and mushroom soup so at the cease of cooking I made a rue out of the juices earlier calculation it back to the pot (melt 1tbs butter or butter substitute, mix in 1 spoon total of flour, add juice slowly stirring to blend - utilise as gravy or keep thin and return to pot). I seasoned and browned the beef first, added some infant carrots to the pot at the commencement of cooking and served with bootleg mashed potatoes...Everyone, including my husband who doesn't like it when I use the crock-pot and my on who doesn't like it when I put sauce on stuff, though information technology was crawly! Will brand again - easiest pot-roast I've found. *If you season the meat first accommodate the table salt or your dinner could be also salty *At four-five hours meat was firm like a steak but with expert flavor - at 8-9 hours it was fall off the fork tender like pot roast - it was good firm - but amazing at the longer cooking time
eleven/28/2010
I added a chopped onion and it was wonderful and i don't like cerise meat the whole family unit enjoyed information technology!
01/15/2010
I e'er read other people's reviews to get ideas and clarifications. This a 5 star recipe for sure, peculiarly considering how incredibly like shooting fish in a barrel and affordable it is. Information technology basically cooks itself, tenderizes all on its own, and is a perfect accompaniament to potatoes, rice, noodles, and veg. A very user friendly meal for families, busy and/or budget minded folks. I'll be keeping a London Broil in the freezer...the other items are always in my pantry. Fantabulous!
06/05/2011
Really enjoyed this recipe. I cooked it every bit per the recipe BUT added extra thickly sliced mushrooms towards the last xx minutes and added 1 more tin of mushroom soup. Sliced the meat in strips and put back in the mixture and served over rice.... It was a fabulous/easy repast for the family. Thanks for sharing.
04/02/2012
The but changes I made was adding in i/2 a chopped onion. I served this with mashed potatoes & broccoli - SO GOOD!!! Thank you!
02/25/2012
Don't know what I did wrong...I followed the recipe exactly but it was bland, overcooked, and chewy.
02/05/2011
Very tasty and piece of cake. I used 1/two whole milk instead of water and used Pacific organic cream of mushroom which has a lot of flavor.
03/28/2011
Non too crazy about this one. I only cooked it for half-dozen hours - peradventure more and information technology would have made the difference.
01/31/2011
Followed the recipe exactly. The meat came out a little dry. Will endeavor again but with variation and less cook time.
01/19/2015
Made as directed, except I bought foam of mushroom soup with roasted garlic by mistake. Every bit a effect, turned out a bit more garlicy than I would have liked. Notwithstanding, it was pretty tasty and super easy to brand. Served over egg noodles. Meat was very tender and had plenty of flavor.
12/fourteen/2013
I was going to make this exactly as the recipe states merely tweaked it at the last minute based on other comments. I decided to throw in a package of Lipton onion soup mix and eliminated the garlic and salt (the onion soup adds plenty of salt). The meat cooked all day on low, made its own gravy and was very tender...delicious. Nothing dry nearly it. An piece of cake and very tasty dish served with mashed potatoes. Ten minutes before serving the meat I added a niggling bit of the gravy to some baby carrots and microwaved them until tender. A prissy side dish.
09/05/2010
very like shooting fish in a barrel to brand, I didn't take any garlic so I sliced upwardly a large onion instead and information technology was pretty tasty and afterward 7 hours the meat was very tender. I served it over rice and will definitely try this again but will add mushrooms next time!
04/23/2010
London Broil was on sale so I thought I'd endeavour something new. Information technology was alittle crazy how tender the meat ended upwards. It was very bland tho - needed something. I was thinking maybe a squueze of lemon, my som was thinking something with alittle more fruit flavour but information technology did need a zing. Not sure I'll make this again. BTW I cooked nearly 5 pounds of meat in 2 pieces and information technology did shrink significantly more then I expected it to
09/23/2016
I don't employ canned soup. Beefiness broth from the box or homemade. I put fresh mushrooms in the bottom of the pot, a whole sliced onion, and some chopped celery. Sprinkled common salt and pepper on the meat with garlic. About a cup and ane/ii of beefiness broth. Cook on high for v hours. Made gravy with the juice and information technology all disappeared. They want more again soon. SOOOO good!!!
07/18/2010
This was a hit in my household....my picky-eater four year former daughter loved it. Of course, my hubby loved it b/c well information technology independent meat LOL. I cooked it for the 7 hours on low equally the recipe called for and the meat barbarous autonomously & the gravy was succulent. I served it over rice and it was just Expert! Follow the recipe as it is here and there should not be whatsoever mishaps.
05/20/2010
The meat was tough and the we did non enjoy the taste at all.
10/02/2014
Excellent. I didn't take a london broil so I used a brisket and I cooked information technology alot longer than information technology said. Until it roughshod apart. Kids loved information technology
04/29/2013
I put this in my crockpot before leaving for work this morning and came home to dinner! I was a little groggy this morning and I doubled the water by blow so my "gravy" was a piddling soupy only a good flavor. I added an onion at the start every bit other reviewers did and it makes me wish I'd had some mushrooms to add every bit well! I will definitely make this again! Thanks for the recipe Yvonne!
06/x/2012
This was really bang-up! I was very skeptical simply i could non call up of anything for dinner and i was running out of fourth dimension if i wanted to melt in my SC so i made it and my Married man, ii yr. old and myself loved it... and the fact that in that location was Nothing to this recipe, merely fabricated it fifty-fifty better volition be making information technology again!!
03/26/2012
Great recipe just as written (although I use a little less garlic - personal preference). I had planned on making this for last nighttime'south dinner, merely ended up having a crazy morning and didn't get it in the crockpot on time. And so, I sliced my 1.5lb london broil, put it in the crockpot and followed the advice of other reviewers and just poured a tin of mushroom soup (low sodium), water and onion soup mix on top and cooked information technology on HIGH for almost 4 hours. OMG! So skillful and my kids couldn't terminate eating it. Success! Thanks for the original recipe and to the other reviewers for their tweaks.
10/05/2011
All 24-hour interval on low was only right. Meat was tender and the sauce had nifty season.
08/sixteen/2012
This was very tasty and tender. I added a tin can of diced tomatoes for a footling tanginess. Next fourth dimension I'm going to shorten the cook time by about an 60 minutes.
10/20/2010
This was very good. The merely thing I inverse was calculation an envelope of onion soup mix and using beef goop instead of water. The meat cooked for about ten.5 hours and it completely vicious autonomously. The gravy was probably thick enough on it's ain to become away with not adding any flour, etc, but was besides salty given the changes I fabricated. We had this with the roasted red tater with aspargras recipe likewise on this site. Great!
eleven/07/2012
Succulent flavor. I used a 2 lb London Broil and cooked information technology for about ix hours on low. Next time I would double the soup and water quantities because in that location wasn't plenty of this aureate mixture. It was so good!
03/03/2010
I made this yesterday. I used a 3lb LB so used 6 cloves of garlic. Left out the oregano. Added 1/2 c red wine and i can of soup with the water. Boiled up some WW Gnocchi and threw information technology in terminal fifteen minutes. Starch from the Gnocchi thickened the gravy - honey that veloute consistency. Meat was all the same LB - IMO never very tender or flavorful unless marinated to expiry. Overall splendid consequence - will attempt once more with a amend crock pot cut. The gravy wins the stars.
02/07/2010
Ridiculously simple. I made 1 substitution (beef broth for the h2o). Cooked it depression on for six.v hours. Feel apart beautifully, tons of gravy. For those who stated it came out also dry out: what the heck did you practise?!?
xi/11/2010
fantabulous recipe not merely for the meat... the juice make an excellent gravy too.
10/02/2009
This was a great manner to brand london broil. I was short on time and cooked it for 4 hours on high -- perfect. I added fresh mushrooms which my husband really enjoyed. Volition certainly make once again.
01/09/2011
Very tasty & super like shooting fish in a barrel!
01/11/2010
This was so good and the meat just feel autonomously. I used 2 cans of gilded mushroom soup and added fresh mushrooms afterward about v hours. Served over rice
07/fourteen/2009
It was good, simply non 'to-dice-for' skilful. The meat was a footling dry for my gustation, but I will endeavor it again and cook it for less time. Overall, good recipe!
09/24/2012
Love this I besides addedmto the existing recipe Lipton dry onion soup mix, cream of celery soup, a footling milk and worecestershire sauce and it is AMAZING my husband and I LOVE this!
03/07/2015
This was pretty practiced. I used cream of mushroom and cream of vegetable also equally everything else listed. Adjacent time I will add some beef goop instead of water and some cherry-red wine for flavor. I added potatoes and pearl onions also here and they were great. Sauce needed more flavor but with the wine and beef blood brother, that will modify next fourth dimension.
11/15/2009
I usually don't do as much garlic, since my people are not garlic people- but information technology'due south not besides much. This is epic over rice with the sauce.
01/27/2010
I made this recipe yesterday. I made the recipe exactly as it reads and didn't similar information technology at all. It had an extremely foreign season and smell, don't think the spices become well with this. This is the first fourth dimension I have e'er given a recipe one star. Will not make this again.
04/02/2012
This was dandy!!! Very tender. mmmmm
02/19/2015
I followed the reciepe exactly and information technology was awesome. Served over egg noddles. Even Dyngo the canis familiaris loved information technology. Bully on a cold NH winter evening.
09/26/2010
This was a swell recipe. Easy & used ingredients readily available in nearly every kitchen. I had a 2 pound London Bake & it was still enough of sauce to keep the meat covered. Very tender. I added a tablespoon of dehydrated onion, Afterwards seven hours on low, I removed the meat & poured the sauce into a pan & added a slurry for gravy. Served over steamed white rice with French cut green beans & some garlic cheddar drib biscuits. Neat Lord's day supper. Cheers for sharing. Definitely a keeper.
02/05/2012
family unit loved information technology! used cream of broccoli and spiced it more to our tastes. it was crawly with mashed potatoes and a nice side of asparagus. we were feeling pretty spoiled.
01/04/2010
Very good flavor, I added some reduced sodium soy sauce and some worcheshire. I also used Italion seasoning in place of oregano and basil. I cooked for half dozen.5 - 7 hrs and meat did fall apart however was very dry, if I brand again will only cook for 5 - 6 hrs.
11/04/2014
This is one of my favorites. I've made it quite a few times exactly equally it is suppose to exist prepared. Everyone always loves it. I tin't wait to make it over again.
12/02/2011
This was tasty and very easy. My meat was so tender and falling apart past the stop (I needed less time than called for). I added mushrooms and coarsely chopped the meat to get in more of a stroganoff. I did double the sauce which was overnice for the noodles I served it over.
03/26/2010
Easy and FANTASTIC! Thank you for such a super like shooting fish in a barrel delicious recipe!! I baked information technology in the oven at 350 for 2 hours - it was nice and tender. Next fourth dimension, I'll use the boring cooker and use the "sauce" equally gravy for veggies. YUM YUM YUM!
xi/09/2009
I'll acknowledge, I did not have high hopes considering information technology seemed too easy. I was pleasantly surprised that it came out with a rich flavor and was pull apart tender. (For those who practise not love the flavour of Cream of mushroom soup, substitute the Cream of Chicken and Mushroom soup every bit it will give a better flavor. I would not recommend going straight to the Cream of Chicken because it will be too soupy. Yous demand the texture of the Foam of Mushroom.) The only thing I volition do differently next time is double the sauce recipe!
04/12/2011
I thought this was a great recipe just I would use 2-iii cans of the cream of mushroom soup and change the water amounts accordingly. I did not have plenty gravy to put over the noodles hence the increase in liquids. The meat was very soft only dry. If you change the corporeality of liquid, y'all will have enough gravy for the meat and noodles.
10/24/2010
This was a expert meal afterward a long day at work!! I didn't add together the basil, oregano or mushrooms because I was in a hurry and forgot. I added a dry soup mix. I served over egg noodles with steamed zucchini. Family ate it upwards!! Proffer to readers: use just half of the dry soup mix.. it came out a lilliputian salty..
02/07/2011
Made this for the beginning fourth dimension tonight. I irksome cooked it for seven hrs but it still came out pretty dry. The flavor was good though. My crockpot is make new so it wasn't the crockpot and the London Bake was 2 lbs. So I am not sure what went wrong.
eleven/20/2010
I made this per the recipe and it was delicious. Whole family unit loved it. Served information technology over whole wheat egg noodles. Yum!
09/23/2009
This looked to piece of cake to be truthful. Information technology was delicious and easy. My whole family liked it. It's a swell way to use london broil, which can exist a rather tough meat.
xi/17/2013
Actually good! Added 1/2 envelope onion soup mix with mushroom soup. cooked for 8 hrs and meat fell apart. Sauce was a little sparse for gravy so I had to whisk together equal parts (2 TBSP) flour and cold water into a paste then stir into liquid. It fabricated the gravy perfect! Great flavor, served w/ mashed potatoes and peas as suggested for a great comfort meal. The boys in my business firm loved it.
01/10/2010
Not exactly what I was expecting merely information technology was adept! I used a tin of h2o and used garlic pulverisation, onion pulverisation and italian seasoning. This was just like a pot roast except that information technology is much leaner than the chuck roast I normally use. London broil is usually on sale at least once a month, we will probably have this for dinner a couple of times a month. Very easy to make, nice to beginning before piece of work and have it done by dinner fourth dimension.
08/xx/2014
Information technology does accept to cook the full vii hours. I added ane/2 loving cup more warm water with 1/two tsp. beef boulion, some portabella mushrooms, onion, and Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning.
10/30/2011
Cooked for about nine hours. Still a little tough but tasted great with the gravy. Everyone enjoyed it!
09/28/2010
this turned out swell. i added a pack of fresh sliced mushrooms and a modest onion. my london bake was a picayune less than ane lb and information technology cooked on low for about 9 hrs. turned out great and served with mashed potatoes
08/26/2013
Amazing and then like shooting fish in a barrel! Adept as written and neat b/c you tin can add veggies that you have on hand! Thank you then much!!!
05/13/2010
Great!!! I added cream of asparagus considering my HB does non like mushrooms. And I melt showtime 2 hours on High and after switch to Low for some other 6 hours for 2lb of london bake. I cut it on portion part pieces. Next fourth dimension I will cut on bite size pieses to make it as a stew. All together - awesom!
10/09/2011
Very good! I really liked information technology and I'chiliad not much of a meat eater. My husband loved it and he e'er groans when I make london broil. (not his cutting of option) The only thing I would change is I would double the liquid recipe. I shredded mine and mixed with egg noodles. In that location wasn't enough gravy.
01/22/2012
absolutely awesome!!! I have tried to cook london bake many times, this is the get-go time that it was very tender. Married man loved information technology. I took another reviewer'southward sugg. and added onions & mushrooms, adept communication.
01/eighteen/2011
I made this last nighttime according the recipe except I doubled it. The meat was very tender but lacked flavour.
09/17/2014
This was fantastic. The meat was soo tender it practically melted, I might have cooked mine a bit too long because in that location was hardly any sauce to cascade over the meat when served simply I loved it regardless. Adjacent time I may cook a bigger London broil shred it, and brand burritos or merely accept information technology over salad like chipotle. YUM
x/04/2011
I followed the directions and fabricated no inverse my family unit loved this and are asking when they can have it once again.
eleven/03/2014
I made up my own recipe, i chopped onions in chunks chopped tons of garlic (my pref). I cut upwards meat into chunks its easier to fit in pot. I browned meat set it aside, and then in a heated sauce pan i put in onions to start cooking downward then when wilted i added garlic and cooked it simply before it started to brown. Take hot water and put it in the pan you browned meat in to become up all the $.25 from pan and dropped it in with onions and garlic. I employ 2 containers of low sodium beef stock and you may want to add a beef bullion for season & infant carrots. i add 2 bay leafs, italian seasoning, oregano, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and cut up potatoes i put in about an hour and 20 min before serving parsley at the finish for color. And yep it does take 7 + hrs to cook the longer the improve!!!! Strain your broth. i salve half for pot roast sandwiches to dip in and the residual i make gravy. But if you actually don't like to utilize London so your better off using chuck roast. I also add kitchen bouquet to my sauce plus a footling wiltshire. to start information technology as early as possible. When i get in for the masses i start it at around 9-x am so i know information technology volition be done by 630 latest.
11/17/2011
Very tender, juicy. Will make again with less expensive cut of meat, it tastes more similar pot roast than london broil. Just still amazing!
06/03/2010
very good! added extra seasonings, and onions

I used Italian Seasoning, small amount of Worcestshire, added a pocket-sized onion, and one tin of diced tomatoes.... Cooked on low for six and a half hours. Meat tender, served with some rice and broccoli.

I was anxious to utilize this cut of meat that I got on sale, and the reviews for this recipe were then positive. Nevertheless, I did check out the one-star reviews, and I can't say they were not altogether inaccurate. Despite what sounded similar sufficient spices and cooking for a skilful amount of time in the ho-hum cooker, the meat was surprisingly dry inside and rather bland. I followed i reviewers suggestion and added onion soup mix to the goop. I ended up making a stroganoff blazon sauce and serving it over egg noodles. It was good, merely it was less than I had expected and ended up existence a bit more of a fuss than I had anticipated.
